Stephanie and Samantha recieve Brownie Safety Awards!

Most of the girls recieved their Money Manager Try it for going to the Bank on December 8th. Samantha and Stephanie completed the Brownie Saftey Award ( paper was sent home 2 meeting ago)

and our Nut Sale Awards Stephanie 1st place Samantha 2nd place and Emily L. 3 rd place.

Everyone had fun making an adorable craft done with Mrs. Gildea!! Thank you Miss Donna!!!

At Home projects

Im going to be ordering patches and trying to finish some of our Journeys. I have a list of who is turning in their  projects. Bug poster with facts, Family Activity, Food Pryamid and shopping list. Please try to hand them in by the 1st meeting in January. I will be giving the try its and Journey patches to the girls that have completed the task. Its hard to start the second key if they havent completed the first. We are trying to complete as much at our meeting but do need your support in completing some of the task.

TD Bank

The Girls enjoyed a short tour of the bank and where and how the money goes from one place to another. They now have earned their Financial Try it the Fun patch from GS and the patch that TD provided WOW three patched for one trip!!! Great job girls.

Holiday Party

COOKIE RALLY 2012

Girls will earn the Cookie Business 1 badge. Troops are responsible for buying the badge.

Light refreshments will be served

Join in games and activities with girls from all over our region!

Earn the Cookie Patch (included in cost!)

Learn business skills and proven strategies to boost cookie sales and meet your goal – council trip,

attend a Broadway play, go camping – your plans, your adventure awaits

Cost - $2.50 per participant

Parents should stay for the first 30 minutes

2 locations:

Toms River – Walnut Street School – event #5010701

60 Walnut Street (just off Old Freehold Road) in Toms River

or

Manahawkin location – event #5010702

Ocean Acres Community Center on Nautilus Drive, Manahawkin

Service hours available for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors – to register

TD Bank

We are going to be taking a tour of TD Bank on 72. This will be December 8th at 6 pm sharp. it should take 30-45 minutes. They will be earning a Financial Try it and a fun patch for this trip. Please let me know if you will/will not be attending so I can give them an accurate count. Hope to see you there

December Meeting

Our December 7^th meeting will be held at the PLC till 5pm. Another GS Troop will be teaching a fitness program to our troop so they can earn their Gold Award. So please pick them up from the PLC.

NUTS MONEY

I need all Nut Money ASAP I have to make deposits by Monday and turn slips into Council. Please call me whaen you are going to drop it off !!!

Surflight Theater

The Girls had a Great time at the SurfLight Theater. The cast was nice enough to sign autographs and take pictures.

Service the Troops

Saturday November 12th some of the girls participated for the sevice the troops event. They decorated stockings and cards and stuffed them with candy. They did an awesome job!!

Dues

Just a reminder that Dues are due the First Wednesday meeting of the month. I keep records and its easier if I recieve dues all at the same time. If you can pay the whole year off feel free of half whatever is easire for you. I still have a few people who have not paid September or October and we are already into November. If there is an issue please feel free to contact me.

Upcoming Meetings

I will be sending another note home with the next few months meetings. Please make sure that in April you are aware its changed becauseI will be in Germany/ Austria for two weeks.
Also is the snack schedule. If you forget about snack the girls will not have one for that day so please feel free to drop it to be the day before. There are 12 girls
